

Theater photography is tough. You may think there is lots of light on stage, but that's only because of the contrast from the darkness in the audience area. Had an opportunity to shoot the dress rehearsal of Judy Russell's production of the Who's rock opera, Tommy, good test of the high ISO capabilities of my new K-7.
I was pleased at the camera's ability to acquire focus in this situation and the noise at ISO 1600 is quite acceptable. These are a couple of shots, but the whole shoot was at ISO 1600, shot with my DA* 50-135 wide open at f/2.8.
